Earth Day!

We have been learning about our beeeautiful Earth and how we can help keep it healthy. We've discussed the importance of recycling, cleaning up our garbage, and saving power. To celebrate, we went to the city park and cleaned up trash. Well, we were going to...and then it rained. And, then it rained some more. (Don't worry though, I planned on taking lots of hand sanitizer...and gloves. haha) Instead, we made a banner for our friends at the elementary school! All of the children signed their names...and they even signed for Skylynn and Zaylee who were absent that day!

HOPPY Easter!!

Besides the fact that my OWN child thought ALL the Easter eggs that the bunny left outside the pre-school were HIS, and the fact that the Easter 'bunny' (aka my husband), dropped the basket of eggs and lost half of the candy...he blamed it on the "flimsy basket," we had a wonderful Easter egg hunt!! The kids were as cute as can be as they ran through the grass finding treasures! We talked about the true meaning of Easter and I was pleasantly surprised as I listened to the children tell me what Easter is all about. Good job, parents!! You have taught them well!
