punkin' patch!

"Man is most nearly himself when he achieves the seriousness of a child at play." Heraclitus
The kiddos were SO excited today...11:30 couldn't come soon enough for them! Thank-you all for a wonderful field trip and some serious Autumn fun! Between the maze, the tractor ride, the pumpkin choosing, and BEGGING them to all hold still long enough for a picture....memories were made!

(A special thanks to Lacie for sharing her photos...they are terrific!)

Circle Time Fun!

"They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel." Carol Buchner

We've got 'moves' you've never seen...
Dancing with MY stars!

Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, Turn Around!

"The important thing is not to stop questioning." Einstein
The students made Teddy Bear paper bag puppets to go with the new poem they learned...

"A" is for Animal!

"To the uneducated, the letter 'A' is just three sticks." A.A. Milne

For 'show-and-tell' this week, the children each brought an ANIMAL from home...this MAY...or...MAY NOT have turned into a small circus, my friends. Either way, the boys and girls had fun petting their friends' animals, learning each others pets' names and being part of a small zoo. It's all about the memories, right?!

Welcome!

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."
Benjamin Franklin

What a wonderful group of students I have this year! I am so excited to share in their learning adventures, and look forward to a year filled with fun and growth! Love, Miss Emilee
